Determined to Tempt Him

No one would have expected Jiang Xiao, the second young master of Jianghai Media, to open an internet cafe in an obscure tourist town and keep it running for three years.

Nor would anyone have expected Lu Zhiyuan, the granddaughter doted on by the chairman of Lu's Tea, to open a tiny tea shop in the same place.

One is a wild, aloof rogue; the other is gentle as water. They seem to have nothing in common, yet they live in the same little courtyard, directly opposite each other.

It's hard to say who tempted whom.

But one night, she knocked on his door.

When he opened it, Jiang Xiao glanced at her skimpy clothes. "Are you trying to tempt me?"

The cool breeze makes her shiver. She looks at him innocently. "I'm not tempting you!"

Later, they hide in a narrow alley, pressed so close their breaths mingle. He is driven to the edge, his eyes turning red.

"I'm telling you again: stop tempting me!"

Blushing, she argues, "How am I tempting you?" He's the one who pulled her into his arms.

At last, one evening, as the setting sun paints the mountains red, Jiang Xiao pins her against a golden-thread nanmu tea table and kisses her fiercely, leaving his mark on her lips.

Seeing the small red mark at the corner of his mouth, Lu Zhiyuan isn't frightened at all. Her eyes soften as she smiles. "Jiang Xiao, don't you always tell me not to tempt you? Then why did you kiss me just now?"

One-on-one romance, both leads' first and only partners, sweet romance, lots of teasing and tension.
