"Go kill the mutant outside," the System earnestly advises her all day.
"No," Su Xiaoxiao replies, expressionless. She refuses to get herself killed.
As it turns out, Heaven has already granted her one wish. It won't grant a second.
The System looks utterly despairing and starts drafting a farewell letter: "Hurry up and write a will. I'm writing one too. Your neighbor across the hall is about to mutate. Once it finishes transforming, there's a good chance it won't leave your corpse in one piece. Hey!"
Su Xiaoxiao grabs a weapon and springs into action. She's panicking inside, but her strikes are steady, and she gets her first kill.
