The Buddhist-Taoist Demoness Is Reborn

My master said, “Buddha loves all living beings.”

So Luo Chanjuan made protecting all living beings her responsibility.

My senior brother said, “It is the duty of Buddhists to exterminate demons and defend the Way.”

So Luo Chanjuan put herself on the front lines, fighting demons wherever they appeared.

Others said, “Buddha is selfless.”

So Luo Chanjuan gave others her chance to escape.

Because she was Buddha’s child, a model for all Buddhas, and she was supposed to do all of these things.

Until one day, the demonic blood in Luo Chanjuan’s body erupted, its red light illuminating the entire Wanfo Sect.

A divine decree descended: This woman is a demon by nature. Everyone must slay her.

From then on, a generation’s Buddha’s child became a demoness, hunted by cultivators across the entire Qingyun Realm.

Luo Chanjuan fled for a hundred days before finally being surrounded on a mountaintop. The very “living beings” she had once believed in and protected now pointed their blades at her.

The newly appointed Buddha’s child stepped out from behind the crowd, looking at her with pity and urging her to lay down her weapon.

Luo Chanjuan looked at that familiar face and sneered. In the end, she detonated her Nascent Soul, taking the mob attacking her with her to the Yellow Springs.

When she opened her eyes again, Luo Chanjuan discovered she had been reborn as a baby. She thought this was a fresh start.

Until she met her: three-year-old Luo Chanjuan, her past self.
