[Detective Conan] Shadow Play

Announcement: I'm sorry, but I won't be updating the extra chapters anymore. The whole thing with 73 completely wrecked my emotional state, and I just can't accept Rei Furuya having an official heterosexual pairing, so I'm leaving the fandom (though it isn't official yet, but...) This story won't be locked. Thank you to all the readers who have supported me along the way. I hope we meet again! Overnight, news of Amamiya Chinatsu's return to Japan spread like wildfire. She is a detective, a popular idol, and her third identity is... Behind her is a project that has been in the works for nearly 30 years. "First, let's hope your flight arrives in Tokyo without a hitch." "Good luck." Bourbon's voice faded into the night. We are each other's shadows, never apart, yet forever unable to overlap in the sunlight. If I could choose, I would only wish for you to stand in the light. The heroine of this story is quite capable, so you can read it as a power fantasy. Pairing: Rei Furuya. The timeline starts with The Darkest Nightmare and follows the original story. To flesh it out, I've also included some suitable scenes from the movies. Includes scenes featuring the police academy group. Other characters follow their original pairings (that doesn't mean I ship these pairings, though. It's simply: respect the original story, respect the original story, respect the original story.) No character bashing. There may be a few Akai x Amuro references (they won't affect your enjoyment). Amuro x Azusa is a huge deal-breaker for me! Steer clear if that's not your thing, to avoid stepping on a landmine! (I'm fine with Azusa on her own.) The main story is complete. Feel free to suggest extra chapter topics you'd like to read in the comments. I'm also writing a Harry Potter fanfic, [HP] Diadem, which is currently being updated. If you're interested, feel free to visit my profile and read it. Fellow fans are welcome to connect. Theme: To be added
