We Cosplayed Double Black's Kids and Ended Up in Yokohama

This novel is complete. Thank you for being here.

-

I'm Nakahara Masaharu, a cosplayer who does it for fun.

I'm sickly and weak, so I cosplayed as the child of the Double Black duo at a convention to give myself some extra buffs.

After my best friend shoved me into taking a photo with another cosplayer dressed as the child of the new Double Black duo, the world changed.

Looking at Yokohama before me, I ran straight to the Armed Detective Agency and decided to get a paternity test with Dazai.

But Rangu Longye, who came along with me, has something wrong with his brain.

-

When we first arrived in this world:

Masaharu: Dad! Your dear son is here to see you!

Dazai immediately called Chuya.

Chuya looked at the boy whose face resembled his own in some ways and whose personality was as rotten as a mackerel. He began to question his life.

Atsushi looked at Rangu's paternity test and hoped this was all just a dream.

-

After we'd been here a while:

Rangu: Hahaha! I'm going to become Yokohama's greatest singer!

Akutagawa: If you're going to do it, be the greatest in the whole world!

Rangu: You're right! I'm going to conquer the world!

Atsushi: ...Someone, please save me.

-

Chuya: Masaharu, you haven't done today's assignment yet!

Dazai: Son~ Aren't you going to continue your training today?

Masaharu: ...Ugh.

-

After finding a way back:

Masaharu: I can't take it anymore. I want to leave this world!

Rangu: No! I haven't become a great singer yet!

Masaharu: What singer?! This world is about to end!

Rangu: Then let's save it.

Masaharu: ...With what?

Rangu: Music.

Masaharu: Just let me die (.

[Hidden content: Rangu is a natural airhead who knows nothing about anime and thinks everything he sees is romance, constantly spreading rumors that canon characters are all involved in love polygons.]

Please note before reading:

This story is written in third person.

It's an entertainment-focused comedy, with interactions between the old and new Double Black duos, but no romantic storyline for them.

There's only one CP in this story, and that's the two cosplayers getting together.

Theme: Stay alive and you'll see miracles.
