"Miao Sheng is a complete and utter lunatic."

Some people have seen him laughing, covered in blood beside a sea of corpses. Others have seen an entire building suddenly go up in flames not long after he left...

Faced with this powerful madman, people might not dare say it out loud, but they all reached the same conclusion.

Namely, that he was the cruelest and most deranged villain in the world.

Miao Sheng never thought he would suddenly get bound to a strange System.

The tasks the System gave him weren't about transmigrating into a book to win over characters or saving the world. They were about clearing his own name.

Miao Sheng: I'm already perfectly clean. Why do I need to clear my name?

System: Dear, would you like to see what people out there are saying about you?

When it mentioned the outside world, Miao Sheng understood.

Even before meeting the System, he had been arrested on various charges involving murder and arson, only to be released every time for lack of evidence.

But one day, a civilian organization formed specifically to resist him captured Miao Sheng once again.

Only after meeting him in person did the organization's members realize that the so-called deranged villain Miao Sheng was actually a widely celebrated hero.

And his secret identities were beyond counting:

"The greatest philanthropist of the century."

"The principal of the academy with the strongest overall power."

"The god of Midnight City."

...He even had one called "the monster girl who loves helping people."

They looked up at Miao Sheng, his hands cuffed, as he responded with nothing but a playful, malicious smile.

It seemed to silently mock the organization that had gathered to resist him.

Everyone: Miao Sheng may not be a villain, but he really is a lunatic!
