[Also known as Everyone Else Clears the Game by Marketing on Livestream, I Clear It by Threatening the Boss and I Threatened the Boss, but He Thought I Was Cuddling Up to Him]
Male college student Lu Yinghuai is inexplicably dragged into one death game after another.
In these game instances, the players can seek outside help by marketing themselves on livestream. They have no idea what kind of "people" are watching and helping them, but, unsurprisingly, everyone does their utmost to save themselves through the stream. Some cultivate a persona, some play for sympathy and stir up drama, and, of course, some try to sell a pairing.
For example, the greasy-looking man smiling right in front of Lu Yinghuai.
"I'll give you a chance to sell a pairing with me. You're a smart guy, so you know what the viewers like, right?"
"No. You're too ugly."
"I don't believe you. If someone like me is ugly, then who could possibly catch your eye?"
Lu Yinghuai smiled and replied, "The instance boss."
Greasy man: ??? Who would like that psycho boss!
*
In the wasteland desert, Lu Yinghuai lies in a heap of mangled corpses, covered in blood. Only when the final boss of the game appears does he suddenly spring back to life, pouncing on the boss before him with the speed of a wild beast.

Boss: !!!
As the final boss of countless game worlds, he is fearsomely powerful. In his entire life, he has never met anyone who dared to threaten him to his face... More importantly, the clean-cut Lu Yinghuai really does make his heart race and his face turn red.
After that, one more rule is added to the death game's rules.
[Rule One: Players must not leave the game area without permission.]
[Rule Two: Players must not close their livestream without permission.]
[Final Rule: Do not threaten the Infinite Boss!]
*
After the first survival game, Lu Yinghuai's livestream fills with comments from viewers who think he deserves to die for threatening the boss.
But reality often doesn't go as expected: password doors that open by themselves without being solved, game NPCs who give themselves away without being questioned, and clues practically pasted right onto Lu Yinghuai's face...
Only then do the viewers finally realize: the Infinite Boss is giving him the whole Pacific Ocean's worth of help!

Reading guide (content warnings):
1. A fragmented boss as the pursuer x a steady but cheeky receiver (1v1, both virgins, each other's first love)
2. The pursuer may look and act differently in each game, but his memories and soul are one and the same.
3. The pursuer has no name at first; everyone calls him Boss or Monster. The receiver has a slight everyone-loves-him setup later on, so proceed with caution if that's not your thing.
4. This is a fictional world, so please don't overanalyze the details.
Theme: Move forward bravely and fear no hardship
