I Quit My Company and Became a Star

Blurb: Lin Yuexi is a member of a third-tier girl group, but her popularity leaves everyone else in the dust, carrying the whole group to success.

Her company doesn't play fair. To balance the group's popularity, it deliberately suppresses its most popular member, her, and instead promotes the leader and the third-ranked member.

The company is a bunch of bloodsuckers. The whole company moved into a new building bought with her earnings, yet every time payday comes, her bank balance doesn't even reach five figures.

The company is full of bastards. After exploiting her popularity, they kicked her out of the group as soon as scandals began to follow her.

When she learned she was going to be kicked out and become an unknown nobody, Lin Yuexi started picking fights with the company at every turn.

When another group member's relationship was exposed, the Lin Yuexi in the book was told by the company to write her fans a groveling letter: "...Fans, please don't abandon us. We only have you."

But now, Lin Yuexi hammered away at her keyboard and typed: "...It's the third-ranked member who's dating during her career's rise, not me. Fans, make sure you direct your abuse at the right person."

Fans: ???

At a variety show appearance, a screenshot of her affected, princess-like act of eating rice one grain at a time and sipping water in tiny mouthfuls went viral, drawing scorn from thousands. The company did nothing. Lin Yuexi fired back at her keyboard: "The company gave me this fake persona. In private, I eat meat by the mouthful and drink liquor by the glass."

The company, left holding the blame: ???

And later, Lin Yuexi took two members with her, started her own company, and gave her old one the boot.
