Blurb:
Empress Qi Mingzhuang is reborn. She believes that if she is to save the country, she must first whip the imperial harem into shape.
In her previous life, she followed the rules of being empress, acting gentle, kind, respectful, frugal, and yielding, and never taking action. As a result, she watched helplessly as the emperor died of illness while pining for his one true love, Xie Wanqing.
At that time, the emperor had no children, Great Zhou was impoverished and weak, and enemy troops invaded. Great Zhou fell, and everyone in the palace died horribly.
Since Heaven has given her a chance to be reborn, she will change everything.
First, she must get all the consorts competing with one another. Whatever Xie Wanqing can do, the consorts must all learn too: music, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, wine, and flowers; flirtatious glances and dances upon one's palm. They must surpass Xie Wanqing in every way.
The emperor must understand that Xie Wanqing is not the only wonderful and accomplished woman in the world. There's no need to hang himself on one tree.
As long as the emperor can transfer his affections and the consorts can bear princes, Great Zhou can still be saved.
The empress leads by example. She starts by pushing herself, then pushes the consorts, and then the entire harem. She doesn't even spare the empress dowager.
As she keeps pushing everyone, the empress realizes that she needs to push the emperor too, making him change Great Zhou's impoverished and weak state, conquer the enemy nations, and eliminate the threat.
The emperor has loved Xie Wanqing since his youth, but lately he has begun to feel that she is nothing special. The empress is far more charming.
He hurt the empress before. Now, how can he make her fall for him and throw herself into his arms?
The empress says he needs to govern diligently and push himself...
Push himself...
Su Baiwan considers herself a virtuous wife and believes she and the Marquis of Yong'an will grow old together. Who could have guessed that one day the marquis would bring home Song Hui'er, the daughter of an old family friend, and throw a divorce letter at her?
As Su Baiwan accepts the letter, she hears the System speak in her mind. It says she owed the Marquis of Yong'an a debt of gratitude in her previous life, and that she has come to repay it in this life. She must be divorced seven times to settle the debt. Otherwise, she will be reborn as a pig in her next life.
Su Baiwan has no choice but to find all sorts of ways to get the Marquis of Yong'an to marry her again and bring her back into his household as his wife.
This time, she doesn't act like a virtuous wife. Instead, she fights Song Hui'er in the household, behaving viciously in every way until the marquis gets furious and divorces her again.
The third time, Su Baiwan finds a way to get the marquis to marry her again, and three months later he divorces her once more.
The fourth time: ...
The fifth time: ...
The sixth time: ...
When she is only one divorce away from completing her task, the Marquis of Yong'an says, "I'm tired. I can't divorce you anymore!"
Su Baiwan: "..."
Theme: Love yourself well.
Will other people suspect that you want to earn gift money?
In fact, the writing is quite cute, but I always feel that the male protagonist is just rebellious against the female protagonist.
Is this repaying a favor? This is obviously to torment the Marquis.
Are these elderly people really not going to be mad to death?
I feel that the author's creativity is very good. This idea can lead to a long novel. It would be a pity to write a short story.
After all, seven days off and seven marriages are too difficult to consummate.
I just want to know how to complete these seven times.
Laughing so hard hahahahahahaha But if the heroine doesn't have beauty, then it's over, ugh~
I'm a tool guy here.
Ah, so fast, woo woo woo I still want to see how the last five breaks will work out. What a pity.
