Fox Demon

[Reader's Guide]

This early short story has too many potentially upsetting elements, so I don't recommend reading it.

The female lead is sexually experienced (she had an affair with a beautiful older woman in the palace).

Some side characters are involved with men. I'll revise the whole story when I have time.

The female lead is ill-intentioned, with a warped sense of right and wrong.

Tragic ending.

If you don't like it, just move on. No need to tell me.

Short story.

She was a clever jade fox, the most cunning in the world. After a century of cultivation, she took human form and descended from the mountain.

She met the woman she loved, but her beloved did not love her.

She returned to the mountain and raised a little one, but after the cub took human form, it repaid her kindness with betrayal.

Perhaps she owed her something in a past life, and this life was just repayment.
