In a dream, a woman saves a little bird from being killed by villains. Her innocence and chivalry catch the eye of the man sitting beside her. He already has a wife, but he cannot suppress his pity for her. He gives her a fox-fur cloak and precious treasures, promising her forever, but she takes no notice. He sets off fireworks to light the night sky as bright as day for her, but she rushes down from the pavilion to soothe the frightened stray kittens. He does everything for her, only to see her take the hand of another, ordinary man, cheeks flushed and her smile as radiant as flowers.
