[The story hasn't changed. I'm just constantly trying out new blurbs (.)]
Ming Huai, the aloof, untouchable moonlight of high society, has a bit of a problem lately.
His straight, wealthy adoptive brother, who has been married for years, has suddenly taken a young star as his kept man.
Should he tell his sister-in-law? That's the question.
Not that he wants to protect his brother. It's just that the young star looks remarkably like him, sharing seven-tenths of his features.
Having the moonlight turn out to be one of your own is hard to talk about.
Troubled by his thoughts, Ming Huai goes drinking alone at a bar. He can't understand what kind of magic the words "white moonlight" hold, or why every childhood friend and relative around him is so obsessed with the idea.
Just then, the bar's silver-haired lead singer walks past. Looking at that devastatingly beautiful face, Ming Huai ponders for a moment.
Leaning against the bar, he tilts his thin lips in a faint smile, loosens his tie, and beckons the other man with a finger. Every line of his face is full of allure.
He decides, reluctantly, to make a small sacrifice and get involved himself, finding a white moonlight to dote on so he can see what it feels like.
After a night of passion, Ming Huai wakes from his drunken stupor with a splitting headache and a limp, aching body.
Ignoring the mess strewn across the floor, he recalls the previous night's delights and thinks only of how wonderful it was, and how he can't get enough.
Looking at the silver-haired beauty, bare-chested and smoking as he leans against the headboard while playing a game, Ming Huai clears his hoarse throat.
"Ahem... How much? I mean, should we work this out by the month or by the night?"
·
After meeting up a few more times, the two naturally entered a long-term relationship.
To Ming Huai, the silver-haired beauty is just a stray dog who needs money and affection.
His father disappeared, his mother is unreliable, and there's no money at home. He can only scrape together his tuition by singing for tips.
It sounds so tragic, so stubborn, so deserving of sympathy. He's the perfect white moonlight, and Ming Huai likes him a lot.
But after just six months, their pretend-couple arrangement takes a turn. The stray dog starts having other ideas. One time, after they pull their pants back on, he shyly asks Ming Huai if he can put his name in the household register.
Alarm bells ring in Ming Huai's head. If he marries his white moonlight, can he still call him his white moonlight?!
After another wild night together, he transfers some money into the man's account, pulls on his pants, and runs off with a carefree flourish.
His parting message: "We're adults. Love is so melodramatic. Let's part on good terms."
·
One day, Ming Huai is unexpectedly named as a marriage prospect by another wealthy family.
Faced with this sudden plot of a forced marriage, he insists again and again that he has already experienced the ocean, so lesser waters mean nothing. He loudly proclaims that he already has an ex who is his white moonlight, and that no matter how tempting the world may be, he will close off his heart and stay faithful until death.
At the engagement meeting, however, Ming Huai sees his silver-haired ex-boyfriend sitting in the center seat across from him.
Yes, the very person he supposedly can't forget for the rest of his life and would marry and no one else.
The same person he once rode roughshod over, humiliated with money, and abandoned after taking advantage of him.
Ming Huai: ?
Aren't you supposed to be a poor little thing who had to sing for money in a bar as soon as you turned eighteen?
His ex-boyfriend sneers.
And didn't you claim you loved me to the bone and couldn't live without me?
"Sounds a little absurd,
but in a pure-love novel on Green River,
it's pretty normal."
·
Years into their marriage:
Question: What's it like to have a white moonlight who is within sight but out of reach?
Answer: He's both innocent and seductive, so beautiful he could steal your soul. Just seeing him gets you worked up, and you wish you could get right to it. But once he comes over, it's seven times in one night, seven days a week. After you're done, you're too exhausted to keep your eyes open, but he won't let you sleep. He insists on holding you and kissing you, then kissing you and holding you, and making you keep saying you love him... I can't take it, I really can't. For the sake of my life, I had to break up with him in tears. A white moonlight should only be a white moonlight. If I can make him mine, then I lose.

A possessive, clingy, gorgeous yandere top who's amazing in bed, poor but able to make it rain money x a cool-looking, inwardly shameless, seductive queen bottom
[I want to write a messy love story against a business-warfare backdrop. If I can't pull it off, just pretend I never said that.]
[One-on-one. Bie Song x Ming Huai, younger top, twelve-year age gap. But our Huai isn't old, he's just a tiny bit more mature (.)]
[There are a few scenes where the bottom keeps the top. Neither has had any romantic experience before, and there are no other white moonlights or substitutes. They get together simply because they fall in love at first sight without realizing it. They both think the other is beautiful and want to get into each other's pants.]
