A Leisurely Imperial Consort in the Qing Dynasty

[Heartless, "clear-headed" couch potato VS shameless, "scheming" puppy]

After transmigrating, Dai Jiaying, a socially savvy woman, became an obscure minor noble consort in Emperor Qianlong's harem: Noble Consort Hai.

At the time, she had no idea she would become the historical Imperial Consort Yu. She just thought that with Qianlong being so romantic and having so many consorts, how would he ever notice her?

She wasn't interested in Qianlong. She only wanted to live a lazy little life, eating her fill and sleeping to her heart's content. She had just three goals:

1. Eat, drink, and have fun

2. Be a couch potato

3. Have an ugly husband who's never home!

Then one day, she discovered that this Qianlong was nothing like the one she'd imagined!

Qianlong: Noble Consort Hai has won my heart. I hereby promote her to Concubine Yu.

Dai Jiaying: ??? Meow, meow, meow??? When did I win your heart?

Qianlong took Dai Jiaying's hand and gazed at her tenderly. "To make sure you know how much I care for you, I hereby promote you to Consort Yu."

Dai Jiaying: What? Go away! Who wants you to care? I just want to live my lazy life!

Qianlong had noticed this heartless Noble Consort Hai long ago.

At the palace banquet: Everyone below only knows how to eat, eat, eat. She's pretty cute, though.

At the flower-viewing banquet: The girl in the flower garden is busy chasing butterflies, so happy she could fly away.

Whenever Qianlong saw her, his troubled mood was instantly cured.

Until one day, he realized this girl wasn't heartless. She simply didn't care about him at all!

Qianlong immediately couldn't stand for it. He drew her into his arms and refused to let go, wanting to spend every day glued to her side!

Qianlong: Who needs dignity? I want a wife!
