[Bungo Stray Dogs] I Transmigrated Into an Eldritch God and Wreaked Havoc in Yokohama

My name is Kongwuxue Li.

After I transmigrated into a book,

I discovered

I wasn’t just a monster girl,

I was also an Old God.

From other people’s perspective:

Just as Mori Ougai became the leader of a certain organization,

the city of R'lyeh, in a realm where fantasy and secrets intertwined,

appeared on the sea off Yokohama.

At the same time, in the slums,

a girl named Kongwuxue Li approached Nakahara Chuuya.

“I will fulfill the promise we made when you were eight.

I will offer you a god’s love.

In the name of the Old Gods, I swear

I will never betray you, never forget you,

my love.”

A certain man with dark sludge for hair gazed longingly at the city in that realm where fantasy and secrets intertwined,

The City of Sin, R'lyeh,

and shed tears of yearning.

And so Mr. Mori lost a valuable subordinate (not really).

Reading guide:

1. This is just silly writing. As long as it’s fun, that’s all that matters.

2. She’s a monster girl, with a bit of that red-and-black kind of stuff, if you know what I mean. She’s not a typical monster girl; she’s my own original character.

3. The pairing is with Chuuya. They do end up together, though I don’t know if you’d call it a happy ending.

4. The final words of the oath, “my love,” refer to Chuuya. It felt fitting, so I wrote it that way.
