(Beyond the Light: Embark) Chronicles of a Navigator

They are the First Flame, they are the Embers.

They bring despair and destruction,

and also the spark of hope.

They tread carefully, they bear heavy burdens.

Life and death, souls endure.

You and I, crossing into infinity.

--------------------"Chasing the Light: Voyage"

A fanfiction based on the game "Chasing the Light: Voyage."

Game description: This is a game where you decide the rise or fall, survival or extinction, of an entire civilization. Set against the backdrop of the famous "Big Rip Hypothesis," it tells the story of many civilizations struggling to survive on the eve of the universe's end. You will take the helm of an advanced spaceship called the Ark and lead your fellow survivors away from the threat of the Big Rip. To obtain the energy needed for the voyage, you must build a stellar ring around an entire planet and seize the planet's resources. But not every planet is uninhabited. In the end, will these worlds be consumed, or will you join hands with other civilizations and coexist? The choice is yours. Bear in mind that every decision could send civilization down a different path. Think carefully before you act.

If you do, you'll be the death of me.
