[Harry Potter: Sirius] Old Dreams of Yesterday

This is a short story commissioned before the long-running serial My Heart Is Like Fire. It's set in a parallel world with a few differences.

In the original timeline, Sirius was never cleared of his name. For certain reasons, Valerie didn't return to Britain until 1995, and the two didn't reunite until the Order of the Phoenix was re-formed. But after the Department of Mysteries, Sirius didn't fall through the Veil. He was only badly injured.

Theme: From this moment on, let's make up for all the time we lost.
