At the end of summer in 1993, she reunited with a big black dog in Hogsmeade.

Though the boundless sky and vast sea of stars stretched above them, one glance was all it took for every star to lose its luster. Valerie saw only the one burning most brightly: Sirius.

Seventeen-year-old Sirius: Oh, Prongs, I'm definitely into sexy older women. Quirky little girls like her aren't my type.

Thirty-three-year-old Sirius: I take it all back.

Prongs says, Seriously, Padfoot, do you need a happily-married man to teach you how to date?

P.S. Sirius isn't a gentle, kind-hearted good guy in my story. He's a bundle of contradictions: the rebellious Hogwarts troublemaker who loves pranks and does whatever he wants, the obnoxious boy who tells his friends, "I don't need to read anything to know it all," and the boy with the courage to fight for justice, born of his rebellious nature, as well as the cruelty to sacrifice others for the people who matter most to him.

The female lead's perspective is Gryffindor. Her views on Slytherin may be biased and do not represent the author's own.

Theme: Love is a spark that lights up the darkest moments.
