[The novel is complete. Thank you all for being with me. Writing is hard, so please support the official release. Jiang Ke's new novel, "Jade Wedding on a Spring Night," is now available to add to your favorites.]
Blurb: 1. An unexpected will required Song Yingshi to get married as soon as possible within a set period. So, through a friend's introduction, she met a man and married him after knowing him for just three days.
On the day they registered their marriage, Song Yingshi learned that her husband's surname was Fu. His refined, scholarly appearance was matched by his extraordinary bearing. He was probably a rich second-generation heir.
It wasn't until a month later, when she went to the chamber of commerce to ask for help with her teahouse business, that she saw him again.
The man seated at the head of the table had a lofty status and was said to have come from Hong Kong. He held a glass of wine and didn't take a single sip. When others toasted him, he simply accepted their attentions.
Everyone else tried to curry favor with him. But when Song Yingshi's friend urged her to go up and toast him, the sight of that still devastatingly handsome face filled her with anger.
Song Yingshi: "You bastard!"
To everyone's shock, Fu Chen didn't get angry. Instead, he smiled, took the glass from her hand, and drained it.
That very night, Fu Chen was locked out by his own wife and spent the night on the street.
2. A new female owner suddenly took over the March Teahouse. She liked to wear qipaos, and her slender waist swayed like the tender branches of a willow in March, drawing plenty of people in to catch a glimpse of her beauty. Unfortunately, she was married.
Song Yingshi had been running the teahouse for less than a month when she caught the attention of Fu Chen, the rarely seen and notoriously wicked member of the Fu family.
Rumor had it that Fu Chen had gone to the teahouse for tea once, taken a liking to her, and even disregarded the fact that she was a married woman.
A famous entertainment reporter secretly photographed Fu Chen calling Song Yingshi to his villa in the middle of the night and keeping her there for three whole days.
Relatives who had their eyes on the teahouse and the will came to confront Song Yingshi. They had only just knocked on the door when they came face-to-face with Fu Chen, his expression dark.
With the adulterous lover right there, they accused her of cheating on her husband.
Fu Chen asked Song Yingshi lazily, "Do you have another husband besides me? If I'd known he'd be here, I wouldn't have come."
Song Yingshi and everyone else: ...
* A qipao-clad beauty who owns a teahouse x refined, sharp-tongued Boss Fu
* The male lead is from Hong Kong, but most of the story takes place in Jianghai
* Marriage before love, both leads are sexually inexperienced
Sequel: "Jade Wedding on a Spring Night"
Blurb: Socially anxious, possessive young tycoon from Hong Kong x cheerful, sunny jade-carving prodigy
Three-year age gap with the woman older / later setting in Hong Kong / marriage before love / both leads are sexually inexperienced
1. Lin Feibao went to Hong Kong alone to collect a debt. The debtor had died, leaving only a daughter, whose reputation was poor and who was so broke she could barely make ends meet.
Unable to deal with Lin Feibao's persistence, the other woman said that her family had an ancestral jade treasure in the hands of her prospective blind date, and Lin Feibao could use it to settle the debt.
Lin Feibao loved jade more than life itself, so she became obsessed and went to the agreed meeting place to get it back.
The man was handsome, but seemed a little dim-witted. He insisted on giving her a check, as if he were trying to scam her, and frightened her so much that she flew back to Huicheng that very night.
Unexpectedly, a year later, the man followed her back to her hometown. Lin Feibao figured he had come to collect the jade.
Jiang Ke, meanwhile, was figuring out how to take her back with him.
2. Jiang Ke, the newly appointed chairman of the Jiang Group, was only twenty-four. He had lived a secluded life since childhood, his whereabouts unpredictable. They said he had a bad temper and was ruthless in business, and that he never got close to anyone.
Then one day, the Jiang Group headquarters unexpectedly announced some happy news: Jiang Ke was married.
While everyone wondered whether it was an April Fool's joke or a hallucination caused by lack of sleep,
Jiang Ke, who rarely ever went out, made an unprecedented appearance at a meeting. He even had a tattoo: a large, childish bow on his wrist.
After his subordinates repeatedly got distracted staring at his hand, Jiang Ke explained, "My wife tried out a temporary tattoo. It wouldn't wash off, and it looks pretty good."
"She has always had great taste."
Note: The male lead and the female love interest are not connected in any way. The person set up on a blind date with the male lead is the female lead. Though the female love interest has a bad reputation, she isn't evil.
The characters are consistent with those in "Three Months to Leave Hong Kong," but the plot has been substantially changed, and the stories are almost entirely unrelated.
Theme: Once you can stand on your own, you can cast everything else aside. Marriage may not bring happiness, but your sense of self will endure.
When I first read it, I was a little confused, but when I read it later I had to admire the author's hero and heroine. They are very vivid and not perfect, but they are very brave for each other. They don't just talk about how rich the hero is, and there are no such exaggerated descriptions of wealthy people. It is really good. This is the first time I have seen such a good Hong Kong novel.
What's the name in that box?
So well written!! This is the most beautiful Hong Kong-Cantonese romance I have ever seen. There is no expensive money, only noble character. The whole text is full of warm love between the male and female protagonists, rather than exaggerated money piled between the lines! Come on, madam, I hope there will be better works!
After watching it, the main storyline of 💜 is pretty good. When it was about to end, the author said that he would write the romance of the supporting characters. I thought it was the emotional scene between Zhang Jingqi and the male protagonist's girl, but it turned out to be the one named Ying and the one named Yun.
These last few chapters keep mentioning the Jiang family, and the sweetness between the male and female protagonists is much less 🤔
