The Boy Who Lived in a Haunted House

Jiang Simiao's family went bankrupt overnight. Their house was auctioned off, and the whole family moved in that very night to a haunted house that was infamous for being ridiculously cheap.

His classmate advised him, "You could just rent a smaller place. Why insist on living in a haunted house? It's creepy."

"I'm used to living in a villa. I'm not used to a single-story apartment." Young master Jiang Simiao said earnestly, "Haunted houses are just a hoax. We have to be firm materialists."

"But all the rumors say..."

Jiang Simiao said solemnly, "I don't believe in a single word of it."

Then he really did see a ghost.

-

"What's it like to see a ghost?"

Jiang Simiao: The ghost is actually pretty handsome?

"What's it like to be held down by a ghost in your sleep?"

Jiang Simiao blushed: Well... I discovered a whole new world. It was pretty fascinating?

The ghost couldn't remember his own name. He only knew he was trapped in that house forever, with the passing of the seasons having nothing to do with him.

He had fallen into a long sleep, sinking into a pitch-black, boundless abyss.

Until someone reached out to him.

That person was bathed in light.
