There can be several Valentine's Days and Christmases in a year, students take the college entrance exam more than twenty times a year, and office workers put in hundreds of months of work a year... This year in history is known as the Conan Era. System: To rescue the people of Detective Conan from their dire straits, are you willing to accept this difficult mission? Jiang Gefan: No. System: ... System: Here, you can spend money as you please, with huge sums at your disposal. Complete the mission and you'll get a special reward too! Jiang Gefan: Whose money am I spending? System: The Black Organization's liquor distillery. Jiang Gefan: So it's dirty money! To spend all the distillery's money and make it go bankrupt, Jiang Gefan, who works in its investment department, begins a series of operations. From food and logistics to entertainment and real estate, Jiang Gefan splashes cash everywhere and runs the businesses in reverse. At a prime location in Ginza, Tokyo, I sell only fried rice with tofu. My delivery company hires only foreigners who can't speak Japanese. My arcade specializes in taking over failing businesses... But Jiang Gefan, focused on losing money, never imagined things would keep going more and more wrong! How can the losses keep growing? This isn't scientific! Even stranger are the accountants the distillery sends to supposedly help but actually keep an eye on her. Why are they all getting more and more ridiculous? Racing, sniping, martial arts, skydiving, and even cooking... They can do everything under the sun. Are accountants at your company really this competitive? The Background Character in the Detective Conan World, blurb: Shimizu Shikato, a truly "ordinary" high school student, discovers that he's trapped in a time loop. His senior year keeps repeating. After taking the college entrance exam more than twenty times, he goes numb... Then one day, a "card-drawing" System appears in his mind. That's when he learns that he lives in a manga world, and the only way to end the loop is to draw special skills and defeat the manga's main villain.+++ After eighteen years of living as a nobody, Shimizu Shikato is ecstatic: So I really am special! Is my own protagonist story finally beginning? Hahaha+!!! Shimizu Shikato raises his hand: In that case, let's do this. I'll draw my first card!+++System: Congratulations, you've obtained one skill card: "Background Character Face."+++ Shimizu Shikato: ...? Is the System bugged? Give me another one! System: Congratulations, you've obtained one skill card: "Background Character's Back." Shimizu Shikato: ...Ugh! So I'm just a background character! It turns out this world is the Detective Conan mystery manga, and the protagonist is his underclassman, the famous high school detective. He's a nameless background character... Shimizu Shikato is furious: So what if I'm a background character? I can still defeat the big boss and escape the loop! And so, he unlocks all kinds of strange card-drawing skills. "Background Character Face" skill description: The author draws all the background characters with similar faces to save time. These are commonly known as background character faces. Shimizu Shikato gives a sly smile: Heh. What better disguise could there be? I don't even need to change my face. So Shimizu Shikato pulls out the "Background Character Face" skill card and moves freely through any situation, because no one pays attention to a background character. Infiltration of the organization succeeds. Mission progress: 10%. "Background Character's Back" skill: Background characters' backs often resemble those of people the protagonists know. As long as no one stops the background character to see his face, he can pass for someone else perfectly. Using this skill, he can quickly finish a job and pin the blame on someone else... Sow discord among organization members. Mission progress: 20%. Theme: Uphold justice.
