The Heartthrob Doesn't Deserve Brothers

Lin Fan, an older guy who has been single since birth and unlucky to an E-rank degree for ten thousand years, finally gets a 100% popularity buff. He's about to enjoy a wonderful life surrounded by beautiful women, but unexpectedly... his three good buddies can't take it first.

At the arcade.

The eldest: "Tsk, you're terrible at games."

Lin Fan: "Oh, sorry about that."

The eldest laughs: "I don't accept apologies. Give me a kiss and I'll forgive you."

At the bar.

Lin Fan, excited: "Look, that hot girl across the room is flirting with me!"

The second brother stands up, acting tough: "Which woman dares to set her sights on my man?"

At the night market food stall.

Lin Fan slurps noodles and complains gravely: "The eldest and second brother are both acting weird, but at least you're straight, third brother. You're the only one I can trust."

The third brother says calmly: "Sorry to disappoint you. I'll work on it."

Lin Fan: "Mm-hmm! Wait... work on what?"

The third brother: "Work on making sure you don't realize too soon that I like you."

Lin Fan: "…"

A righteous, brotherly protagonist who would take a knife for his friends, paired with one of several possible love interests (reader's choice).

P.S.

The setting includes plenty of original worldbuilding.

More than just the three brothers will like the protagonist. There will be other men and women too. After all, a popularity buff that draws everyone in is no joke.
