Change

"My name is Bentley... My life has been a complete disaster.

All I have are a poor family, cruel parents, and bizarre coworkers.

But at ten o'clock on the night of February 29, I witnessed something I will never forget.

I only meant to borrow a screwdriver from my neighbor... but suddenly their house changed. A house had appeared out of nowhere...

I was curious... so I opened the door...

But do you know what? I... I actually saw another version of myself inside! And another family of mine!

They lived in a luxurious house...

That Bentley was being affectionate with his parents, who were also mine, and they looked at him with such indulgence.

I saw his car... the one I've always wanted to buy...

I saw his beloved... so handsome...

She was living the life I had dreamed of..."

"So what did you do? You replaced her. You stole another Bentley's life." The officer didn't question his absurd story. He narrowed his eyes and spoke with conviction.

"No, no. It was just a swap... We'll switch back after a while," Bentley explained nervously.

"Really? Are you willing to give all this up?" The officer moved closer, clearly unconvinced.

"Then what do you expect me to do?" Bentley lowered his head and suddenly said, "When 'Bentley' stole all this from me, didn't I have no choice either?"

"No. You had a choice," the officer said.

His hat brim was pulled low, revealing only half a face as beautiful as an angel in a painting.

He told Bentley, "I'll help you. I'll help you take back the life that belongs to you."

Bentley stared in shock as the so-called officer walked away. But as soon as he turned around, an intrigued smile spread across his face.

What kind of officer was that? He was clearly "his" lover from another timeline.

He... had come looking for "Bentley," hadn't he?

P.S. 1. A revenge mystery.

2. Lots of original worldbuilding.

3. A gloomy, timid bottom x an eccentric top who loves wherever the action is.
