Reader Advisory: From the title, you can tell this story gives Mr. Dazai a hard time. If that bothers you, please don't read.

The River God traveled to the Japanese underworld with his younger sister to exchange business ideas with the local River God of the Sanzu River. While watching Bai Ze and Hozuki fight, he was unfortunately caught up in the fray and, in a moment of carelessness, was sent to the mortal world by Hozuki's spiked club.

The River God climbed out of an unknown stream. When he went to look for his sister, he discovered that her powers had fused with a river called the Tsurumi River.

A handsome young man in a brown trench coat was about to jump in. The River God shouted, “Young man, don't!” but failed to stop him from gracefully plunging into the water.

The River God's outstretched hand froze in midair, and sweat kept beading on his forehead.

His younger sister was the River God of the River of Fertility!
