Just as the two of them were starting a sweet romance, He Yiman remembered the picture he'd seen in a newspaper from twenty years in the future. It showed Tan Shuo's death. Much later, everything returned to its proper place, and He Yiman returned to reality. One day, when an admirer shyly confessed his feelings, He Yiman replied solemnly, “Sorry, I don't think that's possible.” The admirer wouldn't give up. “Why? Do you have a girlfriend?” He Yiman shook his head. The admirer pointed at a photo. “Then who is he?” He Yiman paused. “My ex-boyfriend.” As soon as the admirer left, an unseen force pressed He Yiman hard onto the bed. He didn't fight back, and was soon kissed breathless. But to anyone else, he was alone in the room. The dim light cast only his shadow, flickering indistinctly. The other person grumbled and nipped at his Adam's apple. “We never broke up.” “I know.” He Yiman smiled. “But you've been dead for a long time.” A handsome, carefree top × a penniless street thug bottom 1.
