Grinding Myself to the Bone in the Detective Conan World

(Aside from the canon couples, there are no other pairings in this story. The wedding in the blurb is just a misunderstanding played for laughs.) Also known as: *The Whiskeys I've Tormented Over the Years* *The Days I Got the Real and Fake Liquor All Tangled Up in Tokyo* *How I Unwittingly Stole the Whiskey Trio's Virtue and Names and Sent Them Flying* *I Thought I Was Training New Recruits for the Organization, but I Was Actually Speeding Up Its Transformation into a Distillery* *My Tokyo Love Story: I Got into a Work Race with Gin and Worked Vodka to Death Instead* Serious blurb: Kahn died, then came back to life. He was reborn in a new world with a workaholic System. The System told him that as long as he earned enough grind points, he could do anything he wanted. Kahn: !!! #His heart was thoroughly tempted# With the workaholic mindset of “I'd rather work myself to death than let my coworkers beat me,” Kahn successfully built up the Organization's Mexican branch, earned the codename Corn Whiskey, and was then sent to Tokyo by that gentleman to lend a hand. And so the Tokyo branch gained a workaholic, Gin gained a partner in overwork, and the Whiskey Trio gained an outrageous boss who mercilessly squeezed every last bit of energy out of them. [The Organization's Workaholic] A mysterious member with a codename who dropped into Tokyo headquarters, a big shot who had single-handedly propped up the entire Mexican branch, and a pillar of the Organization's support staff. “You want to know how I have so much time...?" The blond, blue-eyed young man leaned against the railing, sucking on a piece of corn candy as he narrowed his eyes and spoke casually. “It's simple. Just give up sleep, meals, and all your leisure time. So... want to grind together?” “Worried there are too many undercover agents? Don't worry. They'll all work themselves to death on their own.” [The Sun in the Darkness] Some admired him. Some were willing to give up their souls for him. Countless people followed in his footsteps, just to watch him from afar, admire his smile, and bask in his sunlike brilliance. “Don't assume that people like us, living in the darkness, are all cruel, ruthless, and cold-hearted. Most people are ordinary. It's normal to feel conflicted about killing someone.” The blond young man looked straight into the new recruit's eyes, clouded with pain and confusion after killing for the first time. He tilted his head slightly, the corners of his lips lifting as his thumb brushed the recruit's cheek. “You'll get used to it. So for now... don't hide it. You're allowed to be a little vulnerable around me.” [Rising Detective Star] (This is his good-guy secret identity.) The mysterious owner of the Grind Detective Agency. Along with his doctor, Narumi, he acts out a real-life version of Holmes and Watson. Every day, he's either solving a case or on his way to one, working other detectives right out of a job. He's said to be the kind of person who never misses a day at the Metropolitan Police Department. Kahn is still working both the good guys and the bad guys to the point of exhaustion today. ** Bonus scene: Only after the Whiskey Trio was exposed did Kahn realize what he'd done. Mocked the Japanese Public Security Police in front of Bourbon and Scotland. 23 Made fun of a certain FBI female agent for getting stabbed in the back by love in front of Rye. 33 Tore Bourbon's clothes off in front of a certain Public Security agent who'd gone off the grid. 66 Picked Scotland up in a princess carry and flirted with him in front of Nagano officer Morofushi. 59 Had Scotland on one arm and Bourbon on the other in front of a certain bomb disposal officer. 111 Held a wedding for Bourbon and Rye in front of everyone. 84 Revealed that his fake name was Morofushi Zero in front of Bourbon and Scotland. 62 Praised all three members of the Whiskey Trio as rare, natural-born bad seeds in front of them. 6 Made Black Rye Whiskey, dressed in a Japanese Public Security uniform, shout “Get out of my Japan!” at Bourbon, who was dressed in an FBI uniform. 61 When you put it that way, wow, what a life! ** 1. Not serious drama, but silly comedy. Red vs. Black turns into Red and Black getting knocked around. The main idea is tormenting everyone, with the goal of sending them all to the hospital (not really). 2. The protagonist is an extreme workaholic, codenamed Corn Whiskey. He'd rather work himself to death than let his coworkers beat him. 3. No tragic past, test subject, mental illness, naive sweetheart, or dark-and-twisted stuff. 4. His Organization identity is his main secret identity. The detective identity appears later and has fewer scenes. The identities mainly support the protagonist, so this isn't a story focused solely on secret identities. 5. He'll save Tequila from getting killed off, and give Matsuda, Hagiwara, and the captain a hand too. Hiromitsu will come back from the dead. 6. The Organization will be taken down in the end. Check out my new story, *Becoming a Vine Boss in an Abnormal World*. Your favorites mean a lot to me. Thank you so much! After the collapse of the main god's realm, Bai Yu, the boss of the Plants' Paradise infinite-flow dungeon, fell into an abnormal world. An unfamiliar energy swept across the globe, pollution sources multiplied rapidly, and humans, plants, and animals began to mutate. A girl with eggs covering her back, invisible parasitic spores, spider people with eight eyes... Order began to collapse, and civilization regressed into a lawless jungle ruled by bloodshed and slaughter. Humanity's place in the food chain plummeted. Faced with a crowd of creatures that saw him as food, Bai Yu, disguised as a human, swallowed slightly and offered them a kind smile. “I look delicious? Thanks for the compliment. You smell delicious too, actually. O(∩_∩)O” The most sophisticated hunters often appear in the guise of prey. ** ** Chu Zehuai, executive officer of the Eastern Continent region, one of humanity's strongest fighters, and the ace of the Qinghe City Investigation Bureau. His greatest ambition in life was to wipe every source of pollution from the world. He thought nothing could shake his resolve before he achieved that goal. Then recently, he discovered that he might have a bit of a crush on the rookie who'd just joined his team. The rookie had just graduated from university. He was handsome, bright, hardworking, and never complained about helping Chu Zehuai. He was always finding excuses to be around him. Other than the occasional odd things he said, which showed a clear and innocent sort of stupidity, there was nothing wrong with him. Unfortunately, Chu Zehuai's mind was already on the verge of collapse from his frequent exposure to pollution sources and overuse of his abilities. Someone who was losing control shouldn't go and defile the pure white flower that had grown in an ivory tower. Until the final battle, when the rookie tore off his human disguise, revealing fangs glinting beneath his gentle expression. In the blink of an eye, he became the world's only Super S-Class pollution source and fixed Chu Zehuai with an undisguised, covetous gaze. Chu Zehuai: ...I can't keep it together anymore. Theme: Even in the darkness, stay confident and optimistic.
