After graduating from high school, Lin Chuo plans to confess to the senior she has secretly loved. But on the very day she prepares to do it, she sees him hugging another girl with her own eyes.
Lin Chuo turns and walks away in a daze. When she turns her head, she sees Lu Bujin standing behind her. He coldly tosses out, "Keep dreaming," then walks off.

After much deliberation, Lu Bujin finally gives a cool nod.
Lin Chuo leads Lu Bujin step by step into the trap she has laid. When she realizes he might have fallen for her, she proposes that they end their arrangement.
"Lu Bujin, it was all an act. Don't go getting any foolish ideas about me."
At last, Lin Chuo has her revenge for the mockery he dished out that day.
Later, in the changing room behind the school anniversary celebration hall, a student returning to change finds that the door will not open, no matter what they try.
Inside, Lin Chuo has only half removed her stage costume, trapped between Lu Bujin's chest and the wardrobe.
The boy's rough thumb gently strokes the girl's glistening lips. His dark eyes suppress a madness threatening to break free.
"Yes, Lin Chuo. I've been foolishly pining for you for a long time."
