What Evil Could a Black Lotus Songstress Have? [Infinite]

Ye Yingge had just finished her anniversary concert when she found herself lying on a crimson bed, with a skeleton lying beside her. For a moment, she couldn't decide whether to shriek in keeping with her public persona or follow her true nature and touch that pretty skull. As she hesitated, a dense stream of comments scrolled across her vision: [??? Who am I looking at? Why is the Federation's number-one songstress here???] [So this is that washed-up star? She's too scared to move, huh? I bet she won't last thirty seconds in the arena!] [The one lying next to her... Isn't that the hidden boss of this instance?] The Beast Arena, formally known as the Interstellar Beast Arena Livestream Tournament, is an interstellar prison jointly established by the Federation and the Empire. It livestreams criminals struggling to survive in full-immersion instances for the entertainment of its audience. As the saying goes, "The interstellar stage is open to all. If you're guilty, come on in." And yet... Ye Yingge considered herself law-abiding and dedicated to her work for the past ten years. She had consistently maintained her "delicate white lotus" idol persona and never once broken character. What had she done to deserve ending up here? That was what everyone thought. Set against the viciousness of the other players, the songstress, with her delicate, boneless frame, looked all the more fragile and pitiful. Then they watched her play everyone like a fiddle, all while wearing a face that made anyone who saw her want to protect her. The boss who'd wanted to make a meal of her was forced to call her Mommy. A serial killer was sent running for his life after she turned the tables on him. The teammate who wanted to sacrifice her ended up lying on the altar instead. Later, a legend arose in the Beast Arena: the story of its uncrowned queen. From the Crimson Castle to the Garden of Vice, from the Lightless Deep to the Doomsday Celebration, her infamy was known far and wide. The queen herself merely dabbed at nonexistent tears and whimpered, "But I really only sang a few songs. I didn't do anything else." Theme: Stay true to yourself and boldly venture out into the world.
