Shanhai Studio

To avoid the tragedy of failing at a startup and having to go home to inherit a fortune worth millions, Chen Yu resolutely sets out to become a professional talent manager and bravely pursue his dream.

But on the very first day of chasing that dream, he stares in silence at the shabby, run-down, cramped studio in front of him.

It's fine.

For a studio, the people matter more than the surroundings!

Chen Yu gives himself a pep talk and pushes open the studio door.

Inside, a group of people are chatting, playing cards, picking their feet, smoking, and eating instant noodles while playing PUBG. They all turn to look at him.

"Sorry to bother you. I came to the wrong place." Chen Yu closes the door.

The next second, the door opens again. A man with a cigarette between his lips leans against the doorframe, smiling down at him. "New talent manager? You're in the right place. This is Shanhai Studio."

Chen Yu: ...Is it still too late for me to go back and inherit the family fortune?

Later, Chen Yu realizes that the band of oddballs he thought he'd struck gold with are, in fact, the real treasures of the world.
