The Spoiled Princess Lost Her Memory

Princess Yongjia is Emperor Qian'an's most beloved younger sister. She has a face as lovely as jade, and her soft voice is enough to make anyone's ears melt.

Thanks to her status and beauty, the princess has a steady stream of lovers, each replaced by the next.

Yet this princess, despite her countless lovers, just cannot get along with the young champion of the imperial examinations, Gu Jinghe, the current Vice Minister of Justice.

Vice Minister Gu, for his part, holds the princess's behavior in utter contempt.

Then one day, the princess falls from a rockery and loses her memory, mistaking Vice Minister Gu for the handsome young man she has just set her sights on.

She starts showing up at the Ministry of Justice every day, fussing over him and offering him tender care.

Everyone at court knows that the peerlessly handsome and ruthless Vice Minister Gu has never had a woman by his side.

Rumor has it that a woman broke his heart when he was young, leaving him completely cold.

Seeing the princess's attentions, everyone agrees that this time, she is finally going to get her comeuppance.

And sure enough, Vice Minister Gu keeps a dark expression.

He turns down the princess's pastries with a dark expression,

Tells her to stop fooling around with a dark expression,

And helps her down from her horse with a dark expression...?

At last, a little bird brings the news: the woman who once dumped Vice Minister Gu was none other than Princess Yongjia.

Later, Song Zhaoyu regains her memories and, looking back on everything she's done these past few days, wishes she could vanish into thin air.

But as soon as she turns to leave, Gu Jinghe grabs her wrist and backs her into a corner, step by step. "Your Highness, are you planning to toy with me a second time?"

The heartache he felt as a youth has long since been etched into his bones.

He knows exactly what she is like, yet he still can't help falling into her hands again.
