[Xuanyuan Sword: Scar of Heaven] City of the Apocalypse

Yu Wentuo sets off on an interstellar journey with Xiaoxue, but an accident sends them into a wormhole and back to Earth.

Returning to the modern world, Yu Wentuo sees the splendor of the past reduced to ruins. The cities lie in devastation, and humanity, hounded by zombies, has been forced to build high walls and retreat into post-apocalyptic bases just to catch its breath.

As the battles against the inhuman grow more frequent, people with special abilities awaken, becoming humanity's line of defense against the zombies and its hope for salvation.

Gifted with divine power, Yu Wentuo resolutely ventures across this wasteland in search of the friend who once helped him. Relying on his own strength and working alongside the gifted people he meets along the way, he builds a city called Hope. It will become the place everyone yearns for, the last pure refuge in the apocalypse.

-- A Few Rambling Thoughts --

This is the fourth installment in my writing-for-love series.

There are zombies and natural disasters, but Grand Preceptor Yu is absolutely invincible, with power at the very top. This is a satisfying story with no frustrating setbacks.

-- Reader's Guide --

1. An apocalypse and natural-disaster story. Not serialized for payment. The pairing is Yu Xiaoxue. A Mirror Stone fanfic. Updates whenever I can. Thank you for your support.

2. Some out-of-character moments are inevitable. I'll do my best to avoid them.

3. If it's not for you, just click the X. This is a passion project. Negative reviews will be deleted. I'm glad you like A Tuo too.

[Important: This is a fanfic about Yu Wentuo from the game Xuan-Yuan Sword III: Beyond the Clouds and Mountains. It has nothing to do with the TV adaptation. Fans of the TV version's fairy maiden should proceed with caution!]

Theme: Writing for love and staying true to one's original aspirations.
