I was successfully made to abandon the Tai-Chika ship and become a Taiichi-only fan.
Stories that try to please both sides never end well.
And on top of that, Suetsugu made racist remarks, so even the scanlation group stopped translating the series.
Throughout history, many people with serious moral failings have left behind immortal works of literature.
But I live in the present, tormented by the conflicting feelings of hating the author while loving the work.
Suetsugu really is a "one-of-a-kind genius."
The central message of Chihayafuru is good,
And all the characters are so kind and lovely, whether main or supporting,
Yet somehow you can tell from the work that the author herself is disgusting.
Whenever I research the University of Tokyo for another story, I think of Taichi, Suo, and Sudo.
Enough already.
To help myself move on from Chihayafuru,
To free myself from being a character-only fan and still remember what I liked about the characters,
I'll bring my own Chihayafuru story to an end.
One story told two ways: A Side, Taichi x Chika Shin; B Side, Taichi x Shin x Chika.
Tai-Chika fans, read A; Shin-Chika fans, read B. Don't fight, everyone can support their own pairing.
A Side includes breaking up Shin-Chika with bare hands, so if you're a purist, you can leave now.
This character-only fan can even write Shin-Chika now. Suetsugu, you're really something.
Whether it's Tai-Chika or Tai-Shi, all I want now is for Taichi to have a life full of possibilities.
No research. If I remember something wrong, I'll write it wrong; if I don't remember, I'll make it up.
I only followed the manga to about chapter 200 back then. I haven't read the rest, and don't need to.
I really don't want to stay entangled with Chihayafuru any longer.
Now I finally understand what people mean by chocolate-flavored shit.
Looking back, I spent my youth licking shit. That's seriously fucking disgusting.
Chihayafuru is a mistranslation, but the title will remain Chihayafuru. The text will use the accurate translation: karuta.
Theme: A life full of possibilities.
Too poetic? I have never seen this cp, I will wait until the B side comes out.
