CP: A big-sister type with strong maternal vibes x a scheming honor student who loves to put on an act

"My sister suddenly got sick. She came down with a disease called homosexuality."

.

Tao Ying was never much of a proper older sister.

Her mother died when Jiajia was eight months old. It was a painful death; an old illness had worn her down to bones, and for nearly eight months she had practically fed Jiajia with her own blood.

After their mother died, Tao Ying began raising Jiajia all by herself.

It was hard. She was only twelve.

She knelt and begged from one household to the next, asking for breast milk and rice water. She was weak, but diligent and quick on her feet. Though she was still so young, she was already an excellent cook and never shied away from hard work. The villagers pitied her. During harvest season or when they hosted banquets, they were willing to pay her a little money or give her some food to help with the cooking. If Tao Ying or her little sister fell ill, they would do what they could to lend a hand.

That was how she managed to raise Jiajia.

.

Jiajia was hardworking and clever. She made it out of their little town and got into a school in the city, filling an entire wall with certificates.

Everything was getting better.

But then Jiajia suddenly fell ill.

In Tao Ying's arms, Jiajia whispered, "Sis, I'm going to die soon."

Tao Ying held her tighter, her heart aching as she wondered, My poor Jiajia, how can I save you?

Tao Lijia:

She lived in her big sister's blood and flesh, carefully enveloped by a soft, muddy love, imprisoned in a sweet womb. It was as if she would forever be the little Jiajia who needed to be cherished.

Jiajia only needs to be loved, but she is more than just Jiajia.
