After My Love Was Misplaced

When Lu Yingchen met Yan Wujun, he was being held over a bonfire, one torch away from being burned to death.

But Yan Wujun saved him, kneeling on one knee before him. An expression Lu Yingchen couldn't understand shone in his violet eyes. "From this moment on, you are the new Divine Venerable."

So Lu Yingchen became the Divine Venerable, just as Yan Wujun wished. He sat upon the highest throne in the three realms, playing the part of an impassive god.

The divine idol was cold to everyone, but whenever Yan Wujun was near, a warm, tender heart beat beneath that icy exterior.

But Yan Wujun didn't want a living idol. He wanted only his flawless divine master, the former god whose face was identical to Lu Yingchen's.

So Lu Yingchen tore out his beating heart, mashed it into a pulp, simmered it into soup, and gave it to Yan Wujun as a gift.

That way, he could become the flawless divine master Yan Wujun longed for.

Later, Yan Wujun regretted it, but the little Divine Venerable had already been carried off by a demonic dragon.

The dragon hid the little Divine Venerable beneath its soft belly. Even the usually cold and lofty Divine Venerable would curl up beneath the dragon's belly and act cute.

CP: A spoiled, clingy top who sits high above the clouds x an uncultured old rogue bottom

Note: The first character to appear isn't part of the CP. The real CP absolutely dotes on the little Divine Venerable~
