After a red moon appeared on the horizon, black fog spread, the apocalypse drew near, and ghosts, monsters, and strange beasts returned to the world.
The occultists called the night when ferocious beasts rampaged through the streets and wastelands flickered in and out of sight in the city sky the Night of a Hundred Ghosts.
Few knew that night marked the awakening of a being from its slumber. The countless strange beasts crossing the wilderness were merely making a pilgrimage to their newly born young god.
-
On the day strange beasts awakened in X City, a fish-headed man with webbed hands, a dorsal fin, and bulging eyes, a giant venomous snake with nine skulls, and a human-faced porcupine covered in eyeballs charged into Wen Weiche's bedroom, roaring.
Just as Wen Weiche, cornered in the room, was about to act, a group in black uniforms crashed through the window and subdued the beasts after a fierce battle.
The occultist leading them wiped away his cold sweat and looked at the frail boy who had nearly been slaughtered. “Kid, are you hurt?”
But Wen Weiche stared at the dying beasts in the pool of yellow-green blood and shook his head, full of regret.
...They weren't exactly cute, but they might have been fun to keep. What a shame.
-
Everyone at the Occultist Academy knew that Wen Weiche, who had been admitted as a special case, had no supernatural abilities and was an ordinary person who needed protection.
Only Wen Weiche knew that no matter how vicious a strange beast looked to others, in his hands it could become a docile, adorable pet that fit in his palm.
Until one day, during a three-way battle, as everyone fought to the point of exhaustion, bloodied and battered, the thin, frail Wen Weiche stood spotless at the center of the battlefield. Countless shadows appeared behind him: hundreds, even thousands, of ferocious beasts tamed to obey his every command.
The monsters and nightmares, all fangs and ghastly blue faces in other people's eyes, nestled docilely beside Wen Weiche. Like the most loyal guards, they protected him so completely that not even a drop of water could get through.
The others exchanged looks, then finally recognized him in terror. That face belonged to none other than the once-greatest occultist, who had fallen to darkness, betrayed them, and been hunted down and killed.
Someone shouted, demanding to know why he had betrayed humanity.
A soft laugh drifted on the wind.
“The Buddha won't save the ghost beasts. I will.”
The young man's fingers fell to his side, and the evil beasts scattered. At a single command, the land was littered with bones...
He, Wen Weiche, would build a new order where humans, occultists, and ghost beasts could coexist as equals.

Many years ago, when Wen Weiche was still human, he saved a ferocious beast, tamed it, and kept it by his side. He led it onto the right path and taught it to become an occultist.
Later, when Wen Weiche returned like a demon from hell, everyone feared him and joined forces to hunt him down. Yet the one hailed as the strongest fighter resolutely abandoned his side and walked toward him step by step. A fluffy white tail unfurled behind him, gently yet firmly curling around the man who looked like a blood-soaked demon from the depths of hell.
“Big brother, when are you taking me home?”

Inspired by: a fluffy great demon, a roguish and unhinged strongest occultist seme x a fluff-loving, max-level tamer, cool and gentle on the surface but strong and crazy underneath uke
1. It may be a little chuuni, and the uke may have a bit of a popular-with-everyone-and-every-ghost tendency, mostly not in a romantic way.
2. Includes Lovecraftian and Classic of Mountains and Seas creature elements. I want to write a story that isn't exactly light reading, lol.
Theme: Believe in the light.
Didn't give up! I was too busy the past three times, and the progress of saving, editing, and improving the manuscript was slow and it has not been published (I tried to try to update it during the summer vacation?
Are there no plans to update this book? 😭 😭
Why don't you come back?
Is the author a college student? I feel very familiar with mathematics. I am not from the mathematics department, right?
Now high school is here again?
Ahhhhhhh, it's finally opened. I love you so much.
