Blurb:
Everyone in the State of Wei knew that the ruler, Jiang Jing, had a beautiful maid in his retinue. Her skin was like smooth jade, and her figure was alluring. She was a rare beauty, yet Jiang Jing treated her like dirt, making things difficult for her at every turn and humiliating her mercilessly.
The palace servants said that whenever the widely admired emperor encountered this woman, his temperament turned sinister and unpredictable. He had once wantonly painted on the beauty's snow-white skin, then in the very next moment ordered her to leave half-naked. He would casually smash the cups she offered him, then maliciously kiss the fingertips she had cut on the broken porcelain.
Every day, Jiang Ruoyuan prayed that His Majesty would show her mercy. With all her memories lost, she lived in constant fear. At times, she thought Jiang Jing loved her: now and then, his gaze held a rare tenderness. At other times, she thought he loathed her with a hatred that pierced her to the bone.
Later, Jiang Ruoyuan regained her memories.
She had once been the most revered imperial princess of the State of Jin. Her father had killed Jiang Jing's father, and Jiang Jing's countless iron hooves had then crushed Jin. He had imprisoned her, bereft of her memories, deep in the palace, to amuse and humiliate himself with her.
The State of Jin was no more, and Jiang Jing was a devil. She had to escape.
Jiang Ruoyuan tried to escape many times, but Jiang Jing always caught her and dragged her back. She refused food and water, seeking release through suicide.
But who could have expected that the proud and untouchable emperor would lower his noble crown, clutch her sleeve with trembling hands, and plead with bloodshot eyes:
"I was wrong."

Coming Soon: Cheating Spring Colors
Year Twelve of the Jingzhao Era. The emperor died, and Chen Fu, the former crown prince banished to the borderlands, returned to the capital and seized the throne amid bloodshed.
Soon afterward, the former empress, Lady Shen, died in a fire at Lizheng Palace. The people in the great hall avoided speaking of it.
The powerful families of the imperial city had heard rumors about the noblewoman of the Shen family, whose hair was styled in an elegant updo and whose beauty eclipsed the capital, and the many tales about her and the ruthless emperor now seated on the throne, whispered in the shadows.
-
Deep within the palace.
As she looked at the secret letter her father had sent, Shen Qingwu's dark lashes trembled. In a light, alluring dress and with a graceful figure, she seemed to carry herself like a courtesan. Yet she had debased herself to plead with Chen Fu in order to save her family.
From his seat in the great hall, Chen Fu looked down at her, his thick brows lifting slightly, his eyes cool. "Her Majesty carries herself just as the late emperor liked."
His icy, mocking words pierced her like a blade, and Shen Qingwu's face went deathly pale.
-
Chen Fu had once been a prince as radiant as the moon, clad in a princely robe and beyond the reach of ordinary people.
But three years ago, he was falsely accused of treason and banished to the borderlands. The Shen family had been behind it all.
Everyone at court knew that the new emperor's hatred for the Shen family ran deep, and that he would never let them off easily.
Shen Qinghun knew how unpredictable palace life could be, but she was certain Chen Fu would punish her until her death to satisfy his hatred.
He did punish her, but she had never imagined it would mean this.
Their bodies entwined in passion, a nightingale chirped.
Shen Qinghun's hair was soaked through. A sheen of sweat clung to her porcelain-white nose and brows as she stared at the gaze of the man ravaging her.
Humiliation haunted her like a nightmare. She felt as if she were being torn apart by a thousand knives, wishing she were dead. In secret, she took the hairpin she had hidden and tried to end her life.
But Chen Fu easily caught her wrist and flung the hairpin away. He slowly pressed down on her. "You deserve everything that's happening to you."
"You were the one who came after me. Don't even think about escaping. My heirs will come from your womb."
1. One-on-one, both leads' first time, happy ending. (Don't ask why the heroine is still a virgin; it's explained in the story.)
2. No improper relationships occur while the leads are together. At the start of the story, they are already not related, even nominally.
3. Neither lead is perfect; they both have flaws.
4. A melodramatic story about a man taking a woman by force. If that's not your thing, please don't force yourself to read it.
5. The setting is fictional. Don't overthink it.
Theme: Keep a kind heart and move forward bravely
The hatred for killing his father, the hatred for destroying the country, how can he
Why is the heroine sleeping all the time? The biggest feeling when I see her now is that she has been sleeping day and night, doing nothing but sleeping... This water injection tendency is a bit heavy.
Isn't the emperor's concubine called Tongfang?
Super pretty! The male protagonist is a little violent, but he treats the female protagonist wholeheartedly.
Ah?? The male protagonist is only seven feet tall? He's less than 1.7 Meters tall, so how can he be so tall? He's so short that he can't be considered a handsome emperor.
Looked better before I regained my memory
Nice(?? . ??)
Why does the heroine have feelings for the hero? Is it because he is handsome...
I just opened this book and after reading the introduction, is the author so careless??? Was it written in ancient times?????
In fact, the male protagonist just loves killing a little bit, and there are no other big problems. He is a humble little boy. The plot of the beloved maid after amnesia is more interesting than the plot of regaining memory. The plot is ok, the setting is ok, and the writing is ok, but the overall characters may not be that full.
