When she wakes up, the empire's little princess, Su Fu, discovers that she's become the heroine of a Mary Sue dating sim.
Her butler, classmates, and even relatives have all become capture targets. They keep popping up to make their presence known, while she alone can hear the game's System and the thoughts of the capture targets around her.
Su Fu: Hah, how interesting.
Daily Task 1: Read the princess a bedtime story with vivid expression.
Capture Target No. 1 smiles gently, only to see Su Fu pull out her treasured limited edition of The Princess Falls Hard for You: My Darling, Don't Run Away, looking bashful.
Daily Task 2: Help the princess get everyone's attention at school.
Capture Target No. 2 is just about to hire online shills to drum up publicity when he sees Su Fu arrive in a stretch limousine, with a fifty-meter red carpet laid out before her and flower girls scattering petals. She walks through the school gates with her backpack on.
Main Quest: Rescue the little princess from the villain without a scratch.
The capture targets sharpen their weapons, ready to storm the duke's manor. Instead, they see Su Fu urging the villainous leader, known as the capture-target crushers, to wipe them all out in one fell swoop.
Capture targets: ...We came at the wrong time.
Su Fu: No, you came at exactly the right time. :-D
Recommended Upcoming Story: The Parasitic Vine Beauty
Xin Si, a novice mission-taker, is a parasitic vine spirit. Making the most of her natural advantage, she plays a beautiful vase true to herself in one mission world after another, breezing through every task. Even her System can't help marveling: Being blessed with natural talent is great!
There's just one odd thing: the worlds she visits always seem to take a strange turn.
Today, two close friends inexplicably become enemies. Tomorrow, everyone suddenly gets handed a corruption arc. Even the male and female leads, who should be inseparable, end up fighting over her and turning completely against each other.
The System is at a loss to explain it, until one day it casually flips open an encyclopedia of monsters and finds this entry: The Rabbit Ghost Vine grows where the Three Realms meet. It is skilled at disguise and often appears in the form of a dodder vine. It is violent by nature and loves to kill.
System: What the hell? How is this different from what we agreed on?
Recommended Upcoming Story: For the Kite
After the new emperor takes the throne, Wei Jue, the eldest son of the Wei family, rises to Grand Tutor, wielding great power and serving as a model for the sons of the noble clans. People of the time praise his gentlemanly conduct, comparing him to a jade tree shining in the moonlight.
Yu Ying, a distant cousin of this Grand Tutor Wei, is notorious for her ruthlessness and unscrupulous methods.
She uses others to get rid of elders in her clan, sending them to prison. Her fiancé, too, dies silently at the hands of bandits. Yet Yu Ying, the mastermind behind it all, remains unharmed and ultimately manages to take shelter in the Wei household as a lone orphan.
She knows she is now dependent on others, and her first priority is to keep her fox tail hidden. She mustn't stand out too much or attract attention, lest someone dig up her past.
But her beauty is simply too striking and refined. When she walks beneath the corridor holding her pipa, her limpid eyes ripple with emotion, catching the attention of all three Wei brothers.
The third young master climbs over the wall in the dead of night and bluntly declares that he is still unmarried. If she marries him, she'll enjoy a lifetime of wealth and glory.
The second young master comes to see her in the rain, subtly expressing his wish to win one woman's heart and stay with her until their hair turns white. Though there are three thousand beauties, he will drink from only one cup.
Only Wei Jue remains unruffled, calmly watching his two younger brothers show off like peacocks in front of the woman they love.
His friend, indignant on his behalf, earnestly advises him: "You're the eldest, but you don't have to give in to your younger brothers at every turn."
Wei Jue says nothing. Across the waterside pavilion, he and Yu Ying gaze at each other from afar and exchange a knowing smile. Everything is understood without a word.
He tells his friend seriously, "Why should I give way? Only after seeing the others will she understand that I'm the best."
After spending months in the Wei household, minding her every word and carefully observing those around her for fear that anyone might spot a clue, Yu Ying reaches the following conclusions:
Third Young Master Wei is a fool, nothing to fear.
Second Young Master Wei is a blockhead, nothing to fear.
Only the eldest young master, Wei Jue, is deeply calculating. He seems to have seen through her plans, and he keeps smiling at her for no apparent reason. He must have some other scheme up his sleeve.
Yu Ying secretly watches Wei Jue from across the waterside pavilion. She sees him smile faintly at her, then turn and say something to the person beside him.
She thinks: Wei Jue really has discovered something. This man must not be allowed to live.

Theme: Independence and self-reliance, persevering through every setback
Reminds me of an emoticon - I really want to pretend to play SM and beat you to death. Jpg
He looks like a petty young master, but he is actually a master of green tea palace fighting. How wonderful.
Hahahahahahaha I'm laughing so hard, this Karl knows how to fight in the palace
Hahahaha, the resentment on Double Eleven is very deep.
Finished spreading flowers! I came here from Xinwen and wanted to read Su Fu's story. It was quite interesting at first to watch the protagonist change his ways to torture the attackers, but the later part when the last name was involved was not so interesting. I thought there was no emotional connection. I watched the heroine kill everyone to solve problems, but I didn't expect that she basically relied on her last name.
Is the sequel the one with the protagonist Ji Qingxing in advance? I really like this world view and setting, so I'll pick it up first!
