Whoever Confesses First Is a Dog

Also known as "Me and My Disaster of a Boyfriend"

A light, simple campus story, with plenty of fun and no melodrama.

As soon as Xun Li starts school, he's voted the most handsome guy in Tsinghua's mathematics department. At the welcome party, he's confessed to several times, so he has no choice but to pretend to be drunk and reminisce. "I once had an ex who was the love of my life. He was slim-waisted, long-legged, six feet tall, handsome, and a top student. I'll never love anyone else in this lifetime..."

Everyone who had just confessed to him is moved. Someone asks curiously, "So what happened to him?"

Xun Li puts on a sorrowful expression and starts making things up. "Tragically, the heavens were jealous of his talent..."

Before he can finish, Zhou Wenhao makes a grand entrance in a tuxedo that's completely out of place but so stunningly handsome it's outrageous. He drinks his cola as if it were red wine. "How come I didn't know I died young?"

Later, as the two get back together for the Nth time...

Xun Li reminisces about the past. "Actually, what I said at the welcome party wasn't entirely made up~"

With his excellent memory, Zhou Wenhao immediately remembers and asks, touched, "So you really will only ever love me?"

"I was going to say you're actually only 179 centimeters tall..." Xun Li says, then takes off running.

"You'd better not run!" Lu Wenhao grabs the Oxford Advanced Learner's English-Chinese Dictionary beside him and chases after him!

Childhood sweethearts who like each other but neither will take the initiative to ask to get back together.

An epic game of push and pull. Best friends who love nothing more than sabotaging each other and seeing the other make a fool of himself.
