[Thranduil] Versos De Placer (Poems of Pleasure)

In the winter of Third Age 2931, the proud Elvenking met the lover fate had destined for him:

a frail human, whose life would be short;

a poor, gentle girl.

An elf's love lasts far longer than a human life.

This brief romance, in the long passage of the Elvenking's life, was like a flower that blooms only once, gone in the blink of an eye.

Yet that fleeting love was enough to fill his heart with joy whenever he remembered his beloved's face throughout the long years that followed.

Many, many years later, the elves had long since sailed West, and their beautiful forms were no longer seen in Middle-earth.

Only the poem recounting this beautiful love story had spread across every land in Middle-earth where humans lived.

A word of caution:

There are many details I made up + characters may be OOC

Since most of the chapters were hastily written while I was slacking off,

there are bound to be many typos from typing too fast and plenty of words that could have been chosen more carefully.

Once the story is complete, I'll revise the whole thing,

correct the typos, adjust some of the wording,

and try to mark all the details drawn from the films and the original works~
