For some reason, reading everyone's stories about family intrigues and household rivalries makes me feel a little sad... The ancient teachings of the Three Obediences and Four Virtues were themselves a form of poison for women. Being a woman is hard; being a woman in ancient times was even harder. This is set in an alternate history. Updates every other day, with an occasional double update possible.
