The Real Booze Who Might Be a Detective Is Slacking Off

Ever since the kind stranger who found her on the road took her in and she joined that organization whose members all used alcohol as code names, Ace's life had become much more eventful.

When they kicked her out of the support division and into the field team, she just went with it. It didn't matter where she worked. She also stopped caring when she kept running into murder cases on every assignment. The victims were always her targets anyway. Getting paid to slack off was great!

But being named the suspect every single time? That was a little hard to take.

They were a criminal organization, yet she had to help solve cases to prove her innocence. As she watched the killer get taken away in a police car, the other members of the organization would cast her furtive, disapproving looks...

The label attached to her gradually changed from "new recruit" to "monster who toys with people's hearts." Ace could only say, "Uh, don't believe rumors or spread them, okay?"

And this was only the beginning...

The famously anonymous trio of undercover agents, ABC: "She got a code name at such a young age. Her hands must be stained with blood. Stay alert."

Ace: "That's hilarious. I've never killed a person, or even a chicken. I have, however, accidentally killed several turtles I was raising."

The shrunken great detective: "She was away for a while. She must be involved in what happened."

Ace: "Come on, officer. You're going to interrogate me just for going to the bathroom?"

The trembling little girl: "There's... an organization scent on her."

Ace: "That's right, sweetie. Your sister gave me this perfume. If you really don't like it, I'll wear something else tomorrow."

In the end, the distillery successfully transformed into a pharmaceutical company. Kudo Shinichi, his identity restored, stood before Ace with a complicated look on his face.

"Was this all part of your plan, too?"

The red-haired woman stood there with a smile.

"Hmm... what do you think?"

Before you read:

1. The story centers on the heroine. She's a genuine member of the organization, not a mole, but she does take over. If I don't mess up the romance, the CP will probably be Gin.

2. The main plot is about saving everyone. Aside from Akemi, whose fate changes because of the protagonist's deliberate actions, everything else is just accidental twists of fate caused by her terrible luck.

3. The protagonist is an immature, self-centered adult, and the author will be indulging in plenty of personal kinks.

4. If anything makes you uncomfortable while reading, don't force yourself to continue.

Theme: Even when people keep misunderstanding you, stay true to yourself.
