Drowning in Roses

1. Lin Yang's career in show business has gone smoothly from the start, but she's had one romantic setback after another.

This time, it took just a month to go from being shipped by the entire internet to getting cheated on by her boyfriend.

Lin Yang decided she'd had enough. Why bother with romance when focusing on her career is so much better?

Her best friend backed her up: Whoever dates again is a dog.

Lin Yang: Deal!

Later, Lin Yang got hooked on a game. She was terrible at it, but loved playing. One day, she was randomly matched with a guy whose skills were unbelievably flashy and whose voice was especially good.

Clear and fresh, low and deep, it made her heart itch.

Lin Yang tossed and turned all night without sleeping a wink.

One day, Lin Yang got a call from her mother. "Honey, you're busy with work and live alone. I'm worried about you, so I found you a roommate. You can look out for each other."

"Who?"

"A friend's child."

"Oh..."

A few seconds later, Lin Yang and the tall, long-legged "puppy" at her door, holding a suitcase and wearing headphones and a hoodie, stared at each other in stunned confusion. ???

The kicker was that the puppy's voice sounded awfully familiar.

-On graduation season's night of clear moonlight, Lin Yang was heartbroken after a breakup and got drunk on the rooftop, completely unaware that an eighteen-year-old boy in a school uniform had secretly kissed her.

-Big sis, I've liked you for a long time.
