A Cat from the Start [Apocalypse]

The pure-white lion cat Bai Miaomiao had lived for over a thousand years and ruled her domain. When her friend ascended, she tried to stop the Demon Lord from causing trouble, but was struck by lightning by mistake and blasted from the cultivation world into the modern world.

Bai Miaomiao woke up in an empty alley.

Good news: her carefully groomed fur hadn't been singed.

Bad news: she'd turned into a human, a soft, delicate girl with absolutely no muscle.

The cat was furious. Very furious.

"Hey, little miss, what are you doing out here alone in this heavy rain?"

Footsteps drew closer. A malicious voice came from the shadowy alley, where rain was falling.

Weak as she was, Bai Miaomiao steadied herself and raised her slender arms.

Left hook, right hook!

If one punch wasn't enough, then two!

Cats have powerful life forces. Cats never give up.

Thanks to the Heavenly Dao's compensation, Bai Miaomiao still had all the superpowers of a top-tier cat, even in human form. These included, but were not limited to: heightened alertness, excellent night vision, running along rooftops and walls, the Meteor Cat Punch, the ability to turn into liquid, high-quality sleep anytime and anywhere, everyone loving kittens, the Invincible Cat Hairstyling Technique, and the ability to open any lock, among other things.

A number of Bai Miaomiao's underlings had been struck into this world too, but they were scattered far and wide.

The only ones with her were a newly enlightened, weak little grass spirit,

and the grass spirit's constant verbal sparring partner, a little gold-swallowing beast.

Meanwhile, Bai Miaomiao learned from the Heavenly Dao System that the Demon Lord had also been blasted into this world, split into countless fragments of his inner demon.

A hot-tempered cat is forced to learn how to be human, open a trouble-solving agency, and deal with all sorts of big and small problems.

Along the way, she also gathers the Demon Lord's inner-demon fragments and searches for her missing underlings.

A little scene:

"System, why can't I just turn back into a cat?"

"I suggest you turn me back into a cat right now."

Bai Miaomiao looked at the Heavenly Dao System with a sweet smile, her fists clenched.

[W-well, it is possible...] The Heavenly Dao System stammered, hesitating.

"Then hurry up! No more stalling!" Bai Miaomiao shook her fist.

A tiny, tiny, fluffy white lion kitten appeared in front of the grass spirit and the gold-swallowing beast.

The little kitten meowed fiercely, but before she could swing her kitty punch, she went "splat" and fell flat on her back, all four paws in the air.

"Turn me back right meow!!!" The kitten Bai Miaomiao meowed furiously.

[Don't hit me, don't hit me! I know a great place with lots of fat fish where fishing is allowed.]

(PS: Bai Miaomiao is a pun on Bai Miaomiao, the name of a lion cat.
