Nothing to Guess

My first book. Everything about it is lacking except the sweetness. [Blurb] "The bright moon shines straight in, with no heart to guess." By Li Bai [Little-known reporter Xin Yi x aloof Director He Zheng (who is actually very gentle)] The first time Xin Yi met He Zheng, she spilled water all over his trousers. She thought she'd offended the cold and distant Director He. But the next day, things were perfectly cordial, and he even praised her article. Was that supposed to be a sarcastic backhanded compliment? Later, Xin Yi felt that He Zheng treated her differently and thought he might be interested in her. Then she saw him shopping with a woman. So he had a girlfriend and was still flirting with her? What a jerk! After clearing up the misunderstanding, He Zheng said, "Don't worry, I don't have a girlfriend." Xin Yi: ... Xin Yi was always polite and careful around Director He, never letting her guard down. One night, after being forced to go on a blind date, Xin Yi returned and saw a tall figure beneath a streetlight. She said cautiously, "Director He..." He Zheng replied coolly, "You call other people 'bro' so affectionately, but you call me Director He? Hmm?" After they got together, Xin Yi watched He Zheng scribbling away as he helped her write an article. "He Zheng, I really regret not getting together with you sooner." His eyes filled with anticipation, thinking she was about to confess her love. Xin Yi said, "Then I wouldn't have to write articles." He Zheng: "So you got together with me just so I'd write your articles for you?" [Reading Guide You Must Finish] * My first book, so it's lacking in every way except sweetness. * A sweet, everyday romance. If it isn't sweet, you can come for me. The male lead falls in love at first sight. One-on-one, both virgins, happy ending. * The male lead is an ordinary civil servant. His father's status is only background information and has nothing to do with special privileges. In fact, the male lead works hard and diligently on his own merit, and often works overtime. This is simply the sweet, everyday romance between the two. * [Important] There is a scene where the male lead kisses the heroine by force. If that bothers you, please proceed with caution. If you think it is bad or cringe-worthy, just click away; there's no need to tell me. Let's respect one another, thanks. * There are no real-life inspirations. The places and characters are fictional. Please don't compare them to real life or nitpick. I will not accept personal attacks. Message: Live with a bright outlook and strive to improve.
