At a bonfire banquet at a villa on the heights of Santorini,
cornered by an obsessive suitor, Huo Songyue grabbed a passing stranger for help. "Sir, do you have a girlfriend?"
The man wore a luxurious black suit with a subtle pattern. His well-defined hand held a silver-patterned handkerchief, which he used to catch the drink about to drip from the ends of the girl's naturally curly hair. "Huo Songyue."
Huo Songyue's heart skipped a beat. "You know me?"
The man's slightly raised, broken eyebrow was framed by a cool, condescending gaze fixed on the girl's beautiful, amorous eyes. "Not only do I know you, you once threw my love letter into the trash right in front of me."
"I have a terrible memory, Your Highness the Princess."
When people in their circles talk about Yi Sheng, they can't avoid his three defining traits: grudge-bearing, grudge-bearing, grudge-bearing.
They say he built the RC empire from scratch at a young age. They say he comes from the powerful Yi family of Hong Kong City, but has accomplished even more on his own. They say he has a handsome face that could make anyone feel good, yet keeps his distance from women.
But after seeing how those who crossed him fared, no one dares to provoke him.
He's a lone wolf with a commanding presence.
Huo Songyue is the cherished little princess of the Huo family. With her beautiful, affectionate eyes and her radiant smile, no one can refuse her advances.
She's a bright moon in the sky, with countless admirers.
The two, who seemed to have no connection whatsoever, unexpectedly crossed paths at a banquet.
At the time, Huo Songyue was smiling brilliantly, surrounded by a crowd of men vying for her attention.
In full view of everyone, Yi Sheng came up to her with a plate of carefully chosen fruit, coolly speared a piece, and held it out to her. "Have you had enough fun? It's time to go home."
Huo Songyue turned away, showing him no mercy. "Find my love letter, and I'll say yes."
Everyone sighed in disbelief.
Then the usually arrogant man fell silent for a moment before abruptly bending down, lifting the girl in one arm, and carrying her out.
His broad, tall frame blocked the prying eyes. His voice was gentle as he soothed the little one in his arms. "There, there. Let's go home first. I'll make it up to you with ten letters."
*He sent the moon back to the clouds, and the bright moon gave him a ladder to the sky.
From then on, he could soar through the clouds and embrace the moon.
