After Being Offered to the Demon Venerable as a Cauldron

Blurb: Chi Xu has a little secret: he is the perfect cultivation vessel, born with both male and female bodies. Only by ascending to immortality can he escape this dual-sex body and obtain a brand-new immortal body. To keep anyone from discovering his secret, Chi Xu has kept to himself since childhood, living in quiet seclusion. He paid no attention to his master's concern for his well-being. He turned a deaf ear to his senior brother's attentive care. He met his junior brother's attempts to curry favor with a cold glare. At last, in everyone else's eyes, he became a cold, unfriendly eccentric whom nobody wanted to get close to. Then one day, a new disciple arrived at the sect. His name was Shen Qihan. Shen Qihan was lively and energetic, and got along with everyone. Everyone, that is, except Chi Xu. The two clashed the moment they met, turning every encounter into utter chaos. At last, on the first day after their master ascended, the two got into a fight. In a moment of carelessness, Chi Xu ran his sword straight through Shen Qihan's chest. After that, they went their separate ways. One became the foremost cultivator in the cultivation world, while the other fell to demonic cultivation and became the overlord of the demon realm. They never spoke again for the rest of their lives. After what happened, Chi Xu thought they were bound to be mortal enemies for the rest of their lives. But on the day of his ascension tribulation, a bolt of heavenly lightning struck him in the head, knocking him unconscious on the spot. When he woke up, Chi Xu discovered that he had somehow become a cultivation vessel offered as a sacrifice to Shen Qihan. Shen Qihan looked at him coldly and pinched his chin, smiling faintly. "Your face really does look like his. Just looking at you makes me want to... torment and trample you." That night, Shen Qihan tormented him until he was half dead. In the middle of the night, Chi Xu vaguely woke and saw Shen Qihan crying in his sleep, eyes closed as he murmured, "Chi Xu, I really, really like you. Why... why couldn't you look at me just once?"
