That Matsuda Kid

Matsuda had never seen anything so absurd.

One day, he had an incredibly vivid dream. In it, he wore sunglasses and carried a toolkit onto a Ferris wheel. When he opened the door, he saw an elementary school kid tied to eight bombs.

The kid was completely calm and opened with, "You're dead."

Matsuda: ...

If the time and place had been right, he would have given the little brat a good beating.

He assured the kid, "This level of difficulty? I can handle it in three minutes."

But he was soon proven wrong. For the sake of the public, he chose to face death, though he did feel a little bad for the kid in front of him.

In the final minute of his life, Matsuda ruffled the unlucky kid's hair and exchanged names with him, learning that the brat was called "Jinya."

With a boom, Ferris wheel gondola 72 exploded in midair.

Elementary schooler Matsuda jolted upright in bed, realizing it had only been a nightmare.

Before he could breathe a sigh of relief, someone slammed open his bedroom door. A dark figure charged in like a cannonball, planted himself on Matsuda's bed, and yelled, "Get up! If you make me late, you're dead!"

The kid's weight nearly made elementary schooler Matsuda throw up. He rolled over, kicked him off the bed, pulled up the covers, and delivered a flurry of punches. "Matsuda Jinya, if you keep talking nonsense, I'll give you a good beating every day!"
