Shen Qiu has been frail and sickly since childhood. Afraid he might not survive, his mother sent him to live in a Taoist temple at an early age. While living there, Shen Qiu is chosen by a System. Complete romance scenarios, and he'll earn more years of life. When he opens his eyes again, Shen Qiu finds himself lying on a wooden bunk in a communal dormitory where he's never slept before. A woman in white floats at the foot of the bed, smiling eerily at him through a gap in the curtain. Shen Qiu: ...? Wasn't this supposed to be romance? With whom? A ghost? Just as Shen Qiu wonders what's going on, a scream explodes in his mind: Aaaaaah! Help! Somebody, please save me!!! The players outside the door scream one after another. Inside, the System trembles in fear.016 calls out shakily, "H-Host..." There's no response. 016 takes a closer look. It's ten o'clock, and Shen Qiu, who believes in a healthy lifestyle, has already gone to bed. 016: ...At least show some respect for the ghost, would you?! Shen Qiu: Sleep comes first, no matter what. Be good. * To accommodate Shen Qiu's healthy lifestyle, 016, a firm believer in spicy hotpot, has started eating half-spicy, half-mild hotpot. As he eats hotpot and sleeps, 016 suddenly realizes that maybe ghosts aren't all that scary. So what if this is an infinite-flow world?
