There's No Way I'm Chasing My Husband to the Crematorium

Ye Wanzhou used to get so mad reading groveling-ex stories. The hero had treated the heroine so cruelly, so why did they still end up together? Did the heroine have no memory? No backbone at all?

But the moment Ye Wanzhou got the role of the hero in a story about a cruel woman, watching him beg humbly and willingly endure her cruelty while refusing to let go, she felt instantly delighted.

In a body-double story, the hero becomes the heroine's stand-in and loves her devotedly. But as soon as her first love returns, she immediately breaks up with him.

"I only got together with you because your profile looked like my first love's."

In a showbiz story, the hero is a little-known actor devoted to the heroine, but she's fickle and has another fiance.

"I only came to you because I was bored. I have a fiance. Why would I ever get together with you?"

In a marriage story, the hero has been married to the heroine for years, but never won her heart. Their marriage is a contract, and once the term ends, they split up.

"We agreed on three years from the start. What, did you mistake the act for real love?"

In a xianxia story, the hero has a defective spiritual root and adores the heroine. He works hard to cultivate so he can be worthy of her, only for her to kill her husband to prove her Dao.

"I need your flesh and blood to prove my path to immortality. Dying by my sword is an honor."

But just as Ye Wanzhou thinks the story has ended, the hero returns to her side with a new identity, even a new face...

1. In the usual cruel-woman stories, the hero and heroine switch roles and the man gets mistreated. There's no groveling-ex arc.

2. Some groveling-ex stories made me mad because the heroine forgave too easily. Switching the roles to the hero instantly made me feel better.

3. A story about a bad woman. The heroine doesn't get mistreated, and each world is one-on-one.
