Substitute romance / Both leads are virgins / The male lead has an unrequited love / Sweet and angsty
Jiang Xi grew up in a poor family. His mother died when he was very young, and his father developed cancer. To raise money for his father's medical bills, he took all kinds of jobs.
While working as a drink host at a bar, Jiang Xi unexpectedly met a wealthy businessman named Qi Aoyu.
Their first meeting was less than pleasant. Qi Aoyu was dead drunk, and Jiang Xi eyed him warily, ready to leave. Instead, the boss stole his first kiss...
Only later did Jiang Xi learn from someone else that the reason for that kiss was that he looked like Qi Aoyu's unrequited love!
Good heavens, Jiang Xi couldn't accept that and firmly refused.
But his family needed money, and the boss was loaded. As long as it didn't go against his conscience, Jiang Xi decided to help the lovesick Qi Aoyu.
The more he helped, the more unsettled he felt, until he slowly fell for the man's sweet talk.
Jiang Xi once asked Qi Aoyu, "Do you like me, or am I just a substitute?"
Qi Aoyu smiled and said, "Don't get hung up on that. A night of love is worth a fortune!"
