Dong Xing is ordinary in appearance and reserved in nature, an unremarkable girl who nevertheless harbors feelings for an outstanding boy.
The boy is named Shen Yuzhuo. He's a year ahead of her, bold and responsible, brave and resourceful. His bearing draws Dong Xing deeply to him.
They meet in late autumn, as fallen leaves drift to the ground. He is the light she pursues.
There's no need for an unrequited love to see the light of day. As long as he is in her sight, that is the most wonderful thing.
